Daniel Cohort

A discipleship program for high school leaders

The Daniel Cohort is Campus Faith Clubs’ high school internship program. Like the prophet Daniel, students live in a culture where discussing Jesus at school is both a challenge and an opportunity. It is challenging for just a few CFC staff members to personally connect with the thousand students attending over 40 faith clubs throughout the area. So, the solution? Discipleship through the Daniel Cohort Internship! CFC interviews and selects students from each high school, training them as disciple-makers and deploying them to lead Faith Clubs in their biggest mission field: their schools. Interns are equipped as local evangelists on a 9-month local mission trip. Since its inception, the Daniel Cohort has been a significant catalyst for the impact of Campus Faith Clubs. Clubs have experienced substantial growth in attendance and the depth of discipleship.

Applications Now Open Through June 7th!

Daniel Cohort Internship 2026-27

You are eligible to apply for the Daniel Cohort internship if you will be a Junior or Senior and a Faith Club officer for the 2026/27 school year.

We are looking for applicants who love Jesus and want to grow deeper in faith, evangelism, and discipleship (and have lots of fun doing it!). Students are selected from all CFCs around the Twin Cities.

We gather one Sunday per month, Sep-May, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Below are dates for the 2026-27 Daniel Cohort meetings.

September 13

October 11

November 15

December 13

January 10

February 14

March 14

April 11

May 16

At the Cohort meetings, we gather for discipleship, training, and community, and then you are deployed to your schools to implement what you have learned through mission assignments. Often, we have guest speakers teach on different topics. In the past, we have had teachings on apologetics, evangelism, missionary work, relational skills, and more, all to equip you to share the Gospel effectively.

You will be given a young adult mentor to walk alongside you and disciple you throughout the year. Also, you will identify someone younger than you or newer in their faith, whom you can spend intentional time with at least once a month to meet and disciple. This is a great model of discipleship, as you are being poured into by your mentor, and then you get to use those skills to pour into another student!

For each month you attend Cohort and complete the mission assignment, $50 will be given directly to your faith club to help with costs such as donuts, service projects, and events!

The Daniel Cohort has been extremely meaningful and impactful a blast for students over the last few years, and we want it to continue being an encouraging and missional program to impact students' lives for the greater good of the Gospel! So, if this is something you are interested in committing to for the 2026-27 school year, please apply below!!! We look forward to meeting you!
